How Long Does Microblading/Ombre Brow Last?

Microbladed/Ombre eyebrows typically lasts anywhere from 1/3 years for most people before the need a touch up; Cosmetic tattoo treatments are considered permanent and will not wash off -- However, they will fade over time and need to be refreshed (touched up) within 1-2 years. Following proper aftercare is KEY to maintaining the beautiful color of your new Microbladed/Ombre eyebrows. Most of my clients are coming back within 1.5 to 2 years for their touch up appointment..

Does Microblading/Ombre Brow Hurt?

I love this Question!!!! At Beauty on 9 Our licensed makeup tattoo artists use two different types of numbing to help alleviate any discomfort. Every service/product offered at Beauty on 9has been thoroughly researched, tried and tested. ( We believe you can't provide a service you haven't tried your self).
I can personally say, "I felt slight pressure very minimal discomfort."

How Long Is the Microblading/Ombre  Process?

Microblading/Ombre  appointments usually take about 2 to 3 hours. Most of the time is spent  pre drawing your shape, we measure the 3 points of the eyebrow to ensure symmetry and facial harmony. Numbing cream is applied for 20 minutes and initial Microblading/Ombre  itself only takes about 30 minutes . No detail left behind, here at Beauty on 9 we reserve 3 hours for each client this is not a rushed process we take our time.

How Long Does the Microblading/Ombre Eyebrows Take to heal?

You will be left with beautiful vibrant eyebrows walking out of your appointment. Expect to have slight to no scabbing.

Your Eyebrows will approximately take about 30 days to Fully heal. The first 14 days are crucial and aftercare needs to be followed perfectly.

With extensive research we have found washing your eyebrows multiple times daily with mild soap and water helps remove the lymph and plasma build up (what causes scabbing). The most important reason; to avoid infection. During these two weeks it is very important to not touch your freshly Microbladed/Ombre eyebrows at all unless you are washing them and/or when your adding ointment (the only ointment you should use is what's given to you by your artist) Ointment should only be used when feeling dry.

Can I schedule a Microblading/Ombre consultation?

Microblading/Ombre Consultations are highly encouraged. This is a 15 minute appointment at this time we go over a medical consultation form, talk about what your expectations are and if we are able to achieve them. This gives us a chance to meet and make sure we are a great fit.

Feel free to come in with your eyebrows powdered in or with no make up at all.

Does Microblading/Ombre Hurt Afterward?

The Eyebrows may be a little sore a few hours later and/or the night of. It is not uncommon for the eyebrow area to feel tender for a few days. During the after care process if you feel like your eyebrows feel tight or stingy, using the ointment helps alleviate the tight/ slight sting feeling.

Can You Microblade/Ombre Over an Existing Tattoo  or Previous Microblading/Ombre from another artist?

A Consultation is necessary if you have had previous Powder Brow, Ombre Brow or Microblading/Ombre. Results will be dependent on how many years it has been and how significantly  faded it is.

If you have been tattooed before depending on how light and/or saturated the tattooing is, removal may be your only option to correct the color and/or shape.

Often times a picture can be emailed to us and we can tell you off the bat if you can or cannot receive a permanent makeup service at Marys Beauty and Lash. We will provide you our Best Honest Opinion. If it cannot be done we will Not do it! Taking your money isn't the name of the game. We will refer you to a removal specialist and once you are lightened enough we may able to powder brow over it.

I Had My Eyebrows Microbladed/Ombre Somewhere Else, Can You Do A Touch Up?

If You Have Been Microbladed/Ombre else where and need a touch-up, the full Microblading/Ombre price will be charged. Please be aware the previous work must be faded enough for correction.

HELP! My Eyebrows Have Turned gray/blue, My Eyebrows Have Turned pink/red, Can You Fix Them?

Yes and YES! Depending on your after care this can happen over the years and depending on what kind of ink was used. CORRECTIONS can be made in turning the Microbladed/Ombre or powder brows back to a brown colour. A consultation is absolutely necessary to determine, how we can approach your eyebrows and what your expectations are. Removal may be suggested but there is ALWAYS a solution to the problem.
